NY State Votes in 2016 Primary Race

On Tuesday, April 19th. New York State voted in the 2016 Presidential Primary Race. Local voters turned out in droves to be a part of the democratic process.

The Democratic candidates were: Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. For the Republicans it was Businessman Donald Trump, Ohio Governor John Kasich, and Texas Senator Ted Cruz.

In the end, front runners Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Donald Trump both won their respective Democratic, and Republican primaries by large margins.

Although the New York state primary race has come and gone, there are plenty of races to go before a new president is elected.
