Racial Diversity at Molloy College
Molloy College has consciously worked on expanding diversity in regards to racial diversity numbers and widening student’s perspective this semester.
Inviting speakers such as John Lewis; a civil rights activist and the author /inspiration behind March a graphic novel trilogy, and General Joseph McNeil; one of the Greensboro Four, has given Molloy students an opportunity to gain a different perspective then they might not have had.
As well as having multiple events, Molloy College over the past ten year has expanded its racial diversity encouraging students of all backgrounds to come to Molloy. This was done by the creation of the dorms, allowing students from all over to have a home at Molloy.
Molloy College is working on becoming more racially diverse in many ways and continues to make strides in expanding the student body’s population and perspective.
